Lyle and Bry were invited to speak to the youth of the Copper Valley area at the Gulkana Village New Year Celebration.
Gulkana Village is located about 200 miles east of Anchorage, in the interior of Alaska. Gulkana Village and the surrounding villages are the homelands of the Athabascan natives. In addition to speaking to the youth in Gulkana Village, CLAW Inc
As an added blessing, the Great Creator allowed us to reveal His love to the youth in Anchorage, AK. We know the Great Creator has great plans for the youth that heard His message of life, healing, freedom, and hope, to the youth of this great land.
CLAW Inc Spreads Message Through Radio

Together (Bry, Larry Harper, and Lyle - pictured here) have conducted several shows that focus on substance abuse and suicide prevention.

Please tune in to hear teaching on the five key areas youth and young adults battle with, which are nutrition, sexually transmitted diseases, addictions, controlling & expressing emotions, and financial responsibility.
The radio shows are being aired Monday and Wednesday at around 3:15 pm, and will continue indefinitely. If you have any suggestions on the topics you would like to hear, please let us know by email, phone, or call the station at (505) 371-5587.
Musungnovi - Back to School & Back to Prayer
On Friday August 9, CLAW Inc traveled to the Hopi Nation to deliver a message of life, healing, freedom, and hope. A message that would encourage the youth to turn from substance abuse, which often leads to suicidal tendencies, and to focus on school and to inspire them to return to a life of prayer, which is part of their native culture.
The event, which included youth of all ages was held in Musungnovi (Second Mesa) on the Hopi Reservation.
The staff and youth were very attentive as the message resinated in their hearts. A message that called them to a good life built upon prayer.
Beautiful Life with Hope Coalition Annual Conference (August 3 & 4, 2009)
On August 3 & 4, the "Beautiful Life with Hope Coalition" (formerly the Ft. Defiance Meth Task Force) hosted it's annual conference entitled "Reality - Let's Face It"
Hope for the Hopi Tour (July 8, 2009)
On July 8, 2009, the Christian Life Center Church from Riverside, CA, hosted a family fun night at the Hopi Veteran's Memorial Civic Center. They invited CLAW Inc. to give a drug prevention presentation, which was well received by all in attendance.
This drug and alcohol free event was enjoyed by all ages from the youth to the elders. The event drew over 1,500 people who enjoyed games, food, and Lyle's presentation.
The Great Creator is pouring His love on the people of this ancient land, and we believe the youth will rise up to be a generation which praises the Great Creator in song, dance, and prayer.
In this outreach tour to southcentral Washington, we were honored to bring the message of hope and healing to the Yakama Nation. We shared the message at the Wapato Middle School, Yakama Tribal School, Toppenish Middle & High School, White Swan Middle & High School, White Swan Community Center, and the Wapato APES Goudy Housing Project. We also made a visit to the Noah's Ark Homeless Shelter. All together, CLAW Inc. reached over 2,000 youth and 300 community members to bring them a message of Life, Healing, Freedom, and Hope.
In all the presentation events, the youth were greatly moved in their hearts and souls. There were many you came up to us with their stories of addiction, depression, emotional trauma, suicidal tendencies, etc. We were blessed to share with them the love of the Great Creator and to encourage them to seek His Divine Destiny for their lives.

As soon as we flew back into Phoenix, we had to reload the suitcase and travel north to Window Rock, AZ, then on to Crownpoint, NM, for their First Annual Youth Intervention Conference.
The presentation Lyle shared depicted the realities of drug addiction and how it can lead to suicide. In addition, he gave his testimony of his meth addiction, overdose, and life-after-death experience.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Lyle played a healing song on the flute. This song gave the audience a chance to self-reflect and to let the Great Spirit touch their hearts.
This presentation gave hope to many who were in the audience, and particularly to one young man who said he felt very inspired and wants to change his life and do great things.
Even if he was the only one changed that day, it was all worth it!
ALASKA Life Tour (April 11 - 28, 2009)
On April 11, 2009, our arctic adventure began. A trip that would take us to the remote areas of the arctic circle in the Land of the Midnight Sun – Northern Alaska and would include the eight villages of Point Hope, Point Lay, Wainwright, Atqusuk, Nuiqsut, Koktovik, Anaktovik Pass, and Barrow. As we left Phoenix, AZ, and headed for the the Alaska, we definitely knew it would be a change in climate and temperature.
On early Monday morning, Lyle and I, along with Marjorie Solomon, a counselor with the North Slope Borough Behavioral Health Department, boarded our 7:30am flight in Anchorage, flew to Kotzebue, and transferred to a smaller plane for our flight to the arctic village of Point Hope, population approximately 700. As we stepped off the plane, the 5 degree temperature welcomed us with a quick wake-up blast of cold arctic air. WOW! - we were finally there and we knew great things were going to happen...here are some highlights.
At the Point Hope Public School, we setup the presentation equipment in the school gymnasium, and for the last hour we gave a Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention presentation to the middle and high school students. It was amazing, throughout the entire presentation, the students kept quiet and their attention was squarely on Lyle. After the presentation many of the teachers came and said they really liked the presentation, and they too were amazed that the attention of the students was held that intensely for the entire hour. However, the icing on the cake was when a high school student came up to us and said he had a “marijuana problem and wanted to stop because it made him act mean toward his mom.” We talked with him and through his tears he made a commitment to stop the marijuana use. That night at our community presentation, he and his mom came together – we know the restoration process has started.
In the schools, we had good reviews. The youth were really touched and many came to us and said "the presentation really spoke to me," and the teachers were surprised the youth were so captivated. Even the police officers said, "the presentation was very good."
In Barrow, Lyle Claw addressed the North Slope Borough School District Board of Education. With this opportunity, Lyle thanked the board for allowing CLAW Inc. to conduct youth outreach in the schools and that the youth received the message very well. Lyle also encouraged them to continue to invite and fund organizations that bring a positive message to the youth.
Here are some other pictures from the trip...

CLAW Inc. featured in U.S. Dept. of Justice Video
As an active member of the respected Fort Defiance Meth Task Force, Lyle Claw was invited by Wild Visions Inc. producer, Mike Pellegatti, to contribute his knowledge and life experience with Meth by means of an educational video through the U.S. Attorney's Office District of Arizona and the Arizona Indian Country Gang Task Force.
The video, entitled "Making the Right Choice," has made an impact on Native Communities and brings to light the positive efforts of Native Tribes in combating gangs, substance abuse, and violence in their communities.
